The black and white love story of the sun and moon – Sonam Keswani
People often ask me the reason behind the name of my quotes “black and white stories”, here’s a short tale to define the reason- Sun is scintillating and bright, he is the synonym of ebullience and is full of life. He is the debonair always dressed in WHITE. He is never alone, always surrounded by chaos and crowd; trees, rivers, mountains, flowers, seven seas all are his mates. His bright rays are the hope and the glittering smile for each eternity on the Earth. He is indispensable for the existence of the mankind and imperative need of the Earth.
On the other hand, alluring Moon is always in her solitude and unchaperoned. Her only company is the deep ocean, where she discerns her reflection, pure white and amorous beauty which casts on the dramatic waves of the sea. Each night she dresses her self best, with disparity in her BLACK nyctophile, each time she appears more beautiful and glamourous than the previous night.
Time passed for both, Sun heard divinity and calmness of Moon’s beauty from his mates and Moon heard apotheosis about Sun from her only companion, Ocean. Ocean exclaimed to the moon, the way Sun made day beautiful and mutates everything to full of life, the way things are not gloom and serene during the day time.
Deep inside the two hearts, a common desire to meet each other was born and so they strived to chase each other, they played hide and seek, and smiled from the corner of lips but none of them could acquire the probability to reveal. The sequence continued in succession and so the chase did. The concupiscence to embrace each other increased with each passing day, they endeavoured to see each other, but all the struggle in vain and they were left in dismay.
The transcendental one almighty gives a chance to each, and for the couple ‘that one day’ was their chance. Finally their prayers didn’t go unheard and they met. Speechless and motionless they stood in the presence of each other; overwhelmed with pouring feeling of completeness. They embraced each other and loved each other until their heart content, entire existence witnessed their amour and were amazed at the crossed boundaries of infinite love.
World ceased exist for the two and time came at halt, they believed they were the only two in the entire universe, they never needed the third. They were so merged in each other that they didn’t bother the surveillance by the dark wretched Earth, which stood in the corner and watched them with bewilderment but said nothing, it kept quiet for the sake of love.
Suddenly a jolt brought the two back into attention and their gaze fell on the dark Earth, the couple didn’t realise that their unison blocked indispensable Sun ray from reaching the earth and thus obstructing him from fulfilling his duties and responsibilities. Mankind was at danger and so was the existence of Earth. The moon sacrificed her love and left silently without saying a word, Sun fulfilled his obligations but was alone and never happy again without his love, so he chased the moon and moon left as soon as he come. Thus black and white or white and black untouched yet untamed.
