Interview with Blogger Vaishnavi Vasudevan
Hello friends, today we have Vaishnavi with us. Let us talk about her blog and hobbies.
Can you please introduce yourself to the world of literature?
My warm wishes to each and every one and first I would like to thank Prabhuprasad sir for giving me this opportunity. Well I’m from an Orthodox Brahmin family, my dad is from Ranchi and my mom from Chennai and I was born and brought up in Telangana.
I’m pursuing my Bachloer of Business Administration from Hyderabad. I’ve started writing my blog in 2015. I’ve done my schooling here in Telangana, this is the place where I’ve found myself.
I’m an animal lover and foodie too. My mom is the most important person of my life.
When did you start writing?
Basically I’ve started writing since class 5. My first poem was on mother that was the first time I got appreciation for my work. After my schooling I couldn’t write much but in 2015 when I lost my dad, that was the time when I started writing again, and here I found life in writing.
Why you want to write?
Well, most of my writings are on depression, love and thriller. Writing is my life, I’m nothing without it, it made me what I’m today and in simple words I write to live.
Describe Vaishnavi in day to day life.
My day starts with my dog waking me up; he’s the one who completes me after writing. I go to college, I don’t like speaking much, I always prefer to be alone, but I’ve some friends who are very sweet. They’re my blessings. I spend most of my time with them when I’m at college, I prefer going out only with them often but once I reach home I don’t talk to any of them. I read a lot; I’ve a mini library at my home.
What are your hobbies apart from writing?
Apart from writing I love to read, paint and sing (though I’ve a bad voice). I also love travelling alone.
Tell us more about your blog?
I’ve started my blog in the year 2015, though I used to write but I never thought of creating a blog until one of my friend suggested. I’ve named it “the watcher of your dreams” which I got inspired by a novel.
How do you manage your writing time?
I don’t have any fixed time for writing, whenever I feel like scribbling words I do, I don’t think where I’m, I just open notes in my mobile and write. Whatever I feel I just write.
What do you think of modern day relationships?
To be honest I don’t believe in love and relationships, I feel like people now a days just don’t know the value of true love, but it’s their perspective how they see a relationship. We can better name it lust rather than love.
How important physical intimacy is in a relationship?
It depends on the couple, whether they’re okay with physical intimacy. It depends on their likes and dislikes and their seriousness about their relationship. If your partner is not serious about you and you are very serious about relationship then I strictly advice to talk with your partner before taking your relationship to next level.
Your favorite writer and why?
J.K.Rowling, she’s my inspiration to write fiction, and I also read books of Paulo Coelho, Agatha Christie, Robin Sharma, and sometimes I prefer Novaneel Chakroborthy and Durjoy Datta.
What are your upcoming projects?
Well, I’m planning to write a novel based on romantic thriller. This book is my dream project and I’m sure people will love this.
Any tips to the upcoming young generation.
Just “believe in yourself”, do what you love.
