CELEBRATE THE JOY OF COLLABORATION AT OFFICE
Effective collaborations are the key to success in any organization. Collaboration brings people together and enables teams outperform. After the pandemic, our office at electronic city is once again buzzing with high magnitude energy. Smart coffee vending machines, chilled infused water, team lunches and beautiful smiles across the floor is making our return to office more exciting than ever before. Most of the employees including me are taking time to have longer conversations with our colleagues. Pandemic has certainly taught to be more compassionate about people around us. It has also taught us the power of face-to-face interactions at workplaces.
The friendships
When a bunch of colleagues from different teams started coming to office in March 2022, we started interacting about how their team contributes to the business. Often, it is mentioned that best conversations happen during coffee breaks. I am sure each one of us started having such short, effective, and meaningful conversations during coffee breaks and lunch hours. I have seen that our colleagues are welcoming and are ready to interact with a sense of seamless collaboration after the pandemic. New friendships are important for newer collaborations. The bond the between the new colleagues is so mesmerizing and the connect is helping us to know more about the work they do. The face-to-face interactions is bringing more value to our conversations and leaving a deep impact.
The team lunches
Team lunches were one of the most missed events during pandemic. As we are returning to normal from pandemic, we are slowly starting to have informal get togethers. These team lunches bring more joy to the teams working together. Tender Management team along with other teams had one of these post pandemic lunches. All the members within the team were radiating joy and had an amazing time together. Potlucks are not only bring the teams together but also families.
The fun
Working from home during the pandemic was certainly a boon for all of us as well as our family members. Once we started coming to office, we were welcomed warmly at our offices. Meeting our colleagues brought so much joy and happiness. As the teams started attending the offices more often, fun Fridays and birthday celebrations became an integral part of the celebrations at work.
Both mine and my team experience of returning to office was a very pleasant experience. Let us come to embrace future ways of working and collaborate in a more meaningful way to outperform every day.
