Book interview with Ayushi Singh
Hello Friends, today we have the latest sensational writer of New Delhi Ms Ayushi Singh. Her words are as follows:
Read, as it can heal….
Read, although it’s an illusion…
Read as it carry those answers…which Reality don’t!
Can you please introduce yourself to the world of literature?
Literature for me is like a playground for a kid. After getting tired from work, world or life I often find solace in this world. No person is capable enough to listen or understand you; however the ultimate power is in pen and paper. Hence, pen is the mightier one and a paper with words is full of wisdom.
When did you start writing?
I started writing when I was 13. Since I was an introvert person, I never used to discuss my observations about life with my parents or anyone. My diary came to rescue and listened to me whole heartedly.
When you published first?
I have been writing stories, poems and articles in various magazines and newspapers, however my work was first published on January 22, 2017.’In the Canopy of Life‘, brought a drastic change in my life. I will never fail to mention the team, My Books Publications, who were the reason of this wonderful transition in my life.
Describe your routine ,Ayushi !
I love the transition period of each day and hence make sure that I am awake at that time. By transition period I mean, Dusk and Dawn. These are my favourite parts on each day, when I spiritually connect with nature.
I don’t believe in routine, each day for me is an adventure.
What are your hobbies apart from writing?
Apart from writing, I am learning vocal and instrumental music. Trying to befriend my guitar which my dad presented me on my birthday. I don’t think the word ‘Hobby’ exists now, so you can count MUSIC as another passion.
Tell us more about your book?
The content of this book is a compilation of poems and stories in Hindi and in the English Language. It cannot be categorized under any particular genre as it is versatile and possess articles from the different aspect of life. Words of a struggling teenager boy, A love story with incredible sacrifices, A letter by a bride to groom, A message by the Almighty to humanity, A story of worthy friendship, and an ode to dreams.
Some prose are rhythmic others are sporadic. It’s a small gift to humanity with the motive to extend in many other versions.
How do you manage your writing time?
I believe whatever you love has the highest priority in your life, above all the work, relationships or pleasures. I never do time management to write as I am NOT a believer of ROUTINE WORK! Whenever any thought or idea pops up in my mind I capture it on paper or on mobile phone.
Your favorite writer and why?
Dan Brown for his exclusive presentation in the domain of adventure and suspense. JK Rowling for exceptionally intriguing imagination, Shakespear’s dialogues, Wordsword for his choice of writing and Robert Frost for his evergreen inspiration!
What are your upcoming projects?
My upcoming projects are related to fictional work involving social reforms or a kind of a friendly gesture to Pakistan, our neighboring country.
Any tips to the upcoming young generation.
Pursue your passion and don’t leave anything incomplete in your life, be it any task, project, communication, relationship, commitment or promise.
If you had to choose, which person would you consider as a mentor?
My father is my MENTOR, TEACHER and GUIDE. Though he is not renowned in this field, however I am extremely inspired by his thought process! He is not a writer by profession however an artist at heart.
What are the easiest and the most difficult thing about writing?
The most difficult thing about writing is there are still very less words to describe one’s imagination and hence the writer has to choose most apt and appropriate word at a particular place.
The easiest thing is ‘IMAGINATIONS ARE BOUNDLESS’. To write about anything is very easy as it is an art with of course NO PROTOCOLS OR LIMITS!
