Counting hollows – Satabdi Banerjee
Category : Poems (English)
You count my numbers?
The first, the second and the last?
I wonder your impression for each count you hold.
Do u reflect? or, just let it be a random?
Or even more, welcome upon a challenge to test?
Ask me, how I had seasoned my each flower…
Gazing through their blossom,
And witnessing their aging decay.
Each, beholding it’s unique innocence,
It’s own fragrance,
It’s own charm.
I have seen it all,
have ripened the pain with each passing decay,
A new hope yet despair bore in.
Count my challenges if you may,
As can your eyes bear to see.
