gone missing is a story of a famous actor Lee Eun Sang from Korea. One fine
day, he receives a call from his crew, and they realize that he is missing and
not at home.
I found the conversation
between Amy, Sia and her mother very interesting. This conversation is mostly relatable
in Indian homes. I loved the way the author has picturized Lee Eun Sang’s
observation about Sia.
Seoul, New Delhi and London, the author has brilliantly captured the small piece of story narrated in these cities. This type of scenes is usually setup in movies. Author has put a great effort in connecting the story and narrating it to perfection. The excitement in each chapter is of a different level. What I personally liked is the author’s choice of words in finer feelings. The end is also thrilling.
This book is
written in a very simple and easy to understand language. I believe any beginner
can read and understand the content easily. Title of the book is also eye catching.
I recommend all the readers to read this book. This will not disappoint you by
any means. I congratulate the author and wish that I read more books of her in
Dear readers, this sounds bit unusual as per the definition found in the books we read. Until last few days, my views were also not much different. While watching few entrepreneurship videos, some thoughts tuned by mind which I decided to share with all of you. Please read the following similarities which are uppermost in my mind.
During college days, a professional learns various skills, techniques, collects information with the resources available. This creates a platform for a professional to launch into the market. In the similar way, an entrepreneur before coming into the business, develops own product with the resources available.
Once the product is developed, the next phase is marketing. Professionals need a well written resume to present before the employers. Similarly, entrepreneurs find attractive ways to sell their product.
Working professionals need to upgrade themselves with current developments, new technologies and recent advancements all the time. Similarly, entrepreneur is constantly looking for development of their products, improving effectiveness of the service, etc.
Hard work, dedication, determination, devotion are the few factors which are essential for both the individual for a guaranteed success.
No matter how talented a person is, performance matters the most. Similar, in business no matter how big the brand is, customers will always look for best quality product.
It is not always true that both the individuals always succeed in all their efforts. Whenever they embrace failure the steps to overcome any situation are always the same.
Rewards and recognition are the fuel for the success of both the individuals. They play an important role in building and shaping the career. Recognition is not always related to financial benefits. At times, a pat on the shoulder or a phrase of encouragement from a colleague/partner can do wonders to all professionals and entrepreneurs.
At each and every point of time, life is full of miracles, excitements, opportunities and happiness. One needs to just find out what their dreams are and keep on chasing the same. No clouds are darker; no mountains are higher that a positive man cannot reach or climb.
Let me sign off wishing all the readers a prosperous career ahead.

gives me an immense pleasure to introduce a new poetess in the world of
literature. Let us welcome Ms.Preethi Richards on our poetic community. Here is
a quick and detailed conversation with her.
Prabhu: Can you please
introduce yourself to the world of literature?
Yes, I would be glad to do so. First of all, I wish to thank Prabhu sir for
giving me such a beautiful opportunity. I am the author of “Naked love” which
is recently published. The place where you live particularly influences you.
This influence comes from either the people or the hometown. I can proudly say
in my case it is derived from both my hometown- Jagtiyal and the people
residing in it. I had my schooling done in Mount Carmel high school in my
little town itself. The strongest influence regarding the literature I received
is from my school.
Prabhu: How was your writing experience?
I feel like am very newbie in the world of literature. However, I experience a great
satisfaction and happiness whenever I get a chance to express my feelings into
Prabhu: Tell us about your
first book the Naked Love experience?
Amazing!! And I take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped me out in
making such a beautiful work. I thank my supporters for building me, my family,
my friends and my readers who are my future builders.
Prabhu: Describe Preethi in
day to day life?
would see me either buried in the words or simply spending most of the time
with my precious ones.
Prabhu: Describe more about
your book the Naked Love?
I still consider myself as a beginner in this vast world of literature. Short
poems are challenging enough in their own. Pulling pieces together into an
anthology is the biggest part. Naked love is such a collection of words.
Prabhu: What are your
hobbies apart from writing?
Apart from writing, I love to read. I like to speak with the people around
because everyone has something meaningfully beautiful and interesting to share.
I believe that all people around us are the beautiful spirits who are built from
the different experiences in life. .
Prabhu: How important
physical intimacy is in a relationship?
I feel like am not yet qualified to answer this question. I believe intimacy is
all about complete trust and the pure love one has for their partner.
Prabhu: What are your
As of now, I am working on marketing and sales of my present book.
Prabhu: What inspired you to
Well..!! I get my inspiration from the world around me. Somewhere I heard
writers are the deep listeners and I do agree with that.
Prabhu: What time of the day
do you usually write?
Not particularly a time for it. When something becomes part of your life you
will figure out the time no matter how the day is.
Prabhu: What can readers
take away from your book?
Naked love is purely a journey of love. We connect to people technically more
rather than emotionally. Words do a lot more to the people. When you can’t put
your love into the words, life will be more meaningful. This book will surely
help you in expressing your love. Readers can relate themselves more with the
content of the book. I wish and I hope this will reach you.
Prabhu: Have you
incorporated something into your book of your real life?
Of course, all the time. I do have the notes of few things which happen to me
that might be in the past or in the present. All thanks to my hobby of
maintaining a dairy in everyday life.
Prabhu: Any tips to the
upcoming young generation.
To all the youngsters I say, just focus on what you really want to do in life
and help yourselves. Don’t be tough on yourself.
Prabhu: Preethi in one
A soul wandering through Universe.
Prabhu: How can readers
touch base with you?
I am always glad to interact with my readers. You can connect with me on
Facebook and Instagram.
Hi, readers. I was a girl with many dreams, and for the first time I felt like every dream of mine would come true when I first saw him. I was never interested in getting married but my parents asked me to just meet this guy Rahul. They were very confident that i would like him and accept their marriage proposal. They were right, he was so understanding, I fell in love with his looks in our first meeting and we got married after few dates. I was so happy to be his wife, I had everything. After our marriage he asked me to wear a black dress which he gave me on our engagement, though I didn’t like that dress I wore it as it was his gift, and that day I realized that I never married a human, I got married to an evil. That day after our first movie date, we drove back home. I was so tired that I told him that I would sleep early tonight, but he wasn’t okay with that, he said i was looking so beautiful that night so he wanted to make love, but i wasn’t ready. I told him that i couldn’t make it happen that night.
He was so strong that he pushed me on bed, I was still pleading him, but he didn’t listen. He took a cloth to shut my mouth so that no one could hear me, he sat on my body, i was still crying, my hands were tired and I couldn’t move my legs. He slowly stripped my clothes, he was enjoying that but I wasn’t. I thought making love gives pleasure but this wasn’t love. He started hurting me, I was bleeding, my skin got scars, it was about 40 minutes, he had made love with his wife and me? I was raped, brutally raped by my husband but why would someone believe me.
I thought of speaking about this with my mom but she wasn’t ready to listen to me, and this continued every day, sometimes he used burn my skin and sometimes he did cut it. And every time only he made love I was just a victim of marital rape. And it’s been 14 years of our marriage and I’m still alive. I cry day in and day out. Sometimes, I cry the whole night. Just like any other women, I like to be loved passionately. I still have a dream, only one dream just to fly away fry his cage. a dream which would never come true.
People often ask me the reason behind the name of my quotes “black and white stories”, here’s a short tale to define the reason- Sun is scintillating and bright, he is the synonym of ebullience and is full of life. He is the debonair always dressed in WHITE. He is never alone, always surrounded by chaos and crowd; trees, rivers, mountains, flowers, seven seas all are his mates. His bright rays are the hope and the glittering smile for each eternity on the Earth. He is indispensable for the existence of the mankind and imperative need of the Earth.
On the other hand, alluring Moon is always in her solitude and unchaperoned. Her only company is the deep ocean, where she discerns her reflection, pure white and amorous beauty which casts on the dramatic waves of the sea. Each night she dresses her self best, with disparity in her BLACK nyctophile, each time she appears more beautiful and glamourous than the previous night.
Time passed for both, Sun heard divinity and calmness of Moon’s beauty from his mates and Moon heard apotheosis about Sun from her only companion, Ocean. Ocean exclaimed to the moon, the way Sun made day beautiful and mutates everything to full of life, the way things are not gloom and serene during the day time.
Deep inside the two hearts, a common desire to meet each other was born and so they strived to chase each other, they played hide and seek, and smiled from the corner of lips but none of them could acquire the probability to reveal. The sequence continued in succession and so the chase did. The concupiscence to embrace each other increased with each passing day, they endeavoured to see each other, but all the struggle in vain and they were left in dismay.
The transcendental one almighty gives a chance to each, and for the couple ‘that one day’ was their chance. Finally their prayers didn’t go unheard and they met. Speechless and motionless they stood in the presence of each other; overwhelmed with pouring feeling of completeness. They embraced each other and loved each other until their heart content, entire existence witnessed their amour and were amazed at the crossed boundaries of infinite love.
World ceased exist for the two and time came at halt, they believed they were the only two in the entire universe, they never needed the third. They were so merged in each other that they didn’t bother the surveillance by the dark wretched Earth, which stood in the corner and watched them with bewilderment but said nothing, it kept quiet for the sake of love.
Suddenly a jolt brought the two back into attention and their gaze fell on the dark Earth, the couple didn’t realise that their unison blocked indispensable Sun ray from reaching the earth and thus obstructing him from fulfilling his duties and responsibilities. Mankind was at danger and so was the existence of Earth. The moon sacrificed her love and left silently without saying a word, Sun fulfilled his obligations but was alone and never happy again without his love, so he chased the moon and moon left as soon as he come. Thus black and white or white and black untouched yet untamed.
She was overjoyed. Finally, she had received a job offer of her dreams. A job which would take her to the pinnacle of success in her career realizing all her dreams. It was an offer to die for. She had worked hard, slogged day and night and reached where she was in her life. She deserved this break which life offered her. And then she realized, the job would not just turn her dreams to reality, but would also take her away from her home. The job was not just in a new city, but in a new country!
It would take her away from him. Maybe forever. The career changes was far too strategic and once done there was no looking back. It would take her away from the light in her eyes, the smile on her lips, and the joy of her heart.
It was a difficult choice. She was on that threshold of life where she had to select which way to turn.
Just his presence in her life gave meaning to it. He gave her the peace she had been looking for. Even though their high pressure jobs did not allow them to be in touch more often, then she would have desired, their hearts were always connected. He was her strength. He had managed to break all the barriers her mind had cast over the years and kill all the demons of her past. He gave her hope and made her believe in life. He was the positive force of her life. With the thought of losing him she realized that the job was not worth it. What would she do with the higher salary or reaching a higher position in life and lead a more luxurious lifestyle when he would not be around to share it? There would not be true joy and happiness if he would not be there to hold her hand and make her laugh. She would not find the peace at the end of the day when she would fall asleep.
It was not the materialistic happiness that she desired. She realized she already had what she really needed, him.
The choice was simple. She chose him.
(C) SWARUPA CHAVAN – By the author of THE PREDICTION , An award winning novel, available on Flipkart.
Who believes in true love? I guess the concept is fast becoming an extinct. There is no time to devote to mushy feelings when there are more practical and worldly dreams to be achieved. The rat race is getting competitive by the day and the heart is scared to venture out in the dream land and struggles to survive in the materialistic world.
To some it might sound a bit cliché. But a soul which is aware can relate to this very easily. It is something which cannot be explained with words but needs to be felt with the heart. We are all souls come on this earth with some purpose. And as long as we are alive it means the purpose is still unfulfilled. Our hearts are in constant search of love. Either you are aware and accept it or you are terrified to accept it and pretend not to agree. But each soul is in search of its other half. One question constantly haunts us… How do we identify our soul mate when we meet him? Do they come with any tag or label marked with our name? It is simple… our heart would identify our soul mate.
Have you ever felt that you have met a person previously, whereas the fact is it is the first time you are meeting him. His voice, his face, his smile and the look in his eyes all seems way too familiar. You find yourself relating to the person more comfortably and realise you had been waiting for him all this time.
Have you ever experienced an instant connection with a stranger? In the middle of the road while walking to work your eyes meet and something flashes at the back of your mind. You give him a second glance and find him looking back at you with the same curiosity. Somehow he seems to be familiar, but you cannot place the connection. Thinking that he is probably an everyday commuter you ignore and move ahead. But his image keeps flashing back in your mind. Days later if you are lucky you see him again and this time he smiles. You do not trust a stranger and look elsewhere. Scared of the intimation, scared to acknowledge your feelings, scared to accept that you have been knowing him for several life time’s earlier. That is the way we humans have been programmed to function. If you find it difficult to accept, how are you going to explain this to others? The very idea is laughable. We are in a hurry to achieve our materialistic goals and reach our hazy destination and do not heed to this message which the forces of the Universe are sending our way. It seems impractical and way too unrealistic. Thus we miss the opportunity to connect with the one whom we are searching our entire lives.
So our next question is… Do we keep heeding to our impulsive responses and smile at strangers who might be our potential soul mates? Here again the answer might be simple. You need to be connected to yourself first, know who you really are and what it is that you wish to achieve in this time and space. This clarity would help you and your soul mate to connect over the chaotic lifestyle and bring you together.
After all finding your soul mate was never a small affair… that extra effort is definitely worthwhile. So next time you see a stranger with that strange look in his eyes… quieten your heart and listen to it.
